Long time Nervous Horizon affiliate DJ JM is back on the imprint with a new essentialclub EP titled 'Barrakuda'.

Marking the Lithuanian artist's third release on Nervous Horizon, after last year's'Abnormal' EP, 'Barrakuda' is perhaps the greatest expression to date of a confidentand refined rawness that DJ JM has become known for.

Composed as a frenzied collection of club cuts bearing the quintessential playfulswagger of JM's attack-drum style, Barrakuda's freneticism is alleviated andaccentuated through diverse drum steps and highly attitudinal melodics.The titletrack's rolling percussive groove and warping crescendos which open the EP arefollowed by the fluctuating arpeggiated synths of the bristolian-tech influenced'Charge'. A driving tribal electro groove accompanied by a catchy 4/4 beep melodymake "Swilling'' a captivating club anthem, while the stripedback electro warper'Unzyp' reaches the edges of the industrial sonic realm with house accents andwailing sirens. The eerie mood of the proto-tribal-house inspired 'Winted' is theperfect lead to Barrakuda EP's closing track 'Sygnal', which features labelhead TSVIand rounds the EP on a more straight up techno note, bearing all the hallmarks of thepair's respective signature sounds.
